Power-electronic-based DC microgrids have been a hot topic in recent years in both industrial and transportation sectors. However, the stability of DC microgrids is a major design issue, due to the nonlinear characteristics of power electronic systems, which may lead to unstable oscillations. To overcome that, this thesis will focus on the stabilizing method and fault-tolerant control method in this application.
